Victorian Review Forums are an important feature of the journal. In them, we publish work by leading and emerging scholars in Victorian studies, delivering readable, engaging, and focused pieces to our readers. Forum essays are typically 1,200 to 1,500 words in length, inclusive of notes and works cited, with approximately 8 to 12 contributions in each forum plus an introduction. Some forum essays are personal in tone; others are more conventionally academic. We welcome a range of themes, styles, and approaches. If you would like to edit a forum, pitch us a topic!
